Nervous System is a design studio that works at the intersection of science, art and technology. They create using a novel process that employs computer simulation to generate designs and digital fabrication to realize products. Drawing inspiration from natural phenomena, they write computer programs mimicking processes and patterns found in nature, using those programs to create unique jewelry.
Nervous Studio, based in Western Massachusetts, consists of Jesse-Louis Rosenberg and Jessica Rosenkrantz, who met as undergraduates at MIT (Jesse studying math and computer science, Jessica studying architecture and biology).
An organically shaped bracelet, designed to slide comfortably over the hand. A thick branch encircles the interior surface of the piece, while thinner members define its outer edges.
